Green Pots, 2010, I Made it Myself, Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia PA
Green Pots responded to the architecture of the new Tyler School of Art building and the history of decorative arts, with me performing the making, display, and sale of these pots in public spaces of the building. All 231 pots were sold for $1 dollar as souvenirs of the New Tyler, reflecting the importance of commerce in pottery’s ability to disseminate their inherent social values.
